On August 25th PYW attended the Indian Head STEAM Festival. PYW girls that attended had an opportunity to participate with STEAM activites offered at the Festival. It was a great experience, we enjoyed the opportunity to participate and learn about DNA, cellular structure, and slime production. The keynote speaker was Dr. Avery Posey, Jr. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Phenomenal Young Women, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that inspires young women to be their best while learning the necessary skills to build a blueprint for success. The skills learned through the organization will equip young women to overcome adversity, build upon their strengths, and fortify their weaknesses. We provide resources for self-motivation and support through sisterhood.

Membership Requirements

  • Every young woman is required to purchase a PYW T-shirt $30 (Parents as well if you will be attending events to support in promoting PYW)
  • Every young woman is required to at least attend 50% of the meetings/events
  • Every young woman is required to bring the PYW journals each meeting
  • Every young woman is required to become a Brand Ambassador for PYW

Blue Butterfly - One Young Woman for one year in the amount of $300 or $25 a month

Teal Butterfly - Two Young Women for one year in the amount of $600 or $50 a month
